Junior Golf

Open to kids ages 4–14 of all experience levels.

Whether your child is picking up a club for the first time or sharpening their skills, we group participants by age and ability to ensure a fun and encouraging learning environment.

Wednesday and Thursday follow the same format—pick whichever works best. Saturday classes do not include tournament play.

• Monthly Rate: $30 per child, per class – Payment due before the first class of each month.
• Drop-In Rate: $40 per child, per class – Payment due before class.

• Fun, engaging stations run by trained coaches
• Loaner clubs available – bring your own if you have them!

On the last Wednesday and Thursday class of each month, we’ll host 3-hole tournaments to help kids ease into course play in a fun, supportive setting.

• Caddies are required (parent, sibling, or guardian).
• Awards presented post-play on the Duffy’s patio.

Note: Saturday classes do not include tournament play.

• By 4:30 PM, cancellation notices (if needed) will be sent via Golf Genius text.
• If storms arise during class, immediate pickup texts will go out. We’ll stay with all children until picked up safely.

• Check-in tent is by the main putting green
• Kids receive a name tag and are guided to their group
• Parents may play golf during class—just be back in time for pickup!

Every Sunday at 9 AM, an email will be sent via Golf Genius to confirm your child’s attendance for the week. Please reply to help us staff accordingly.

• The Pinewoods program runs Wednesdays and Thursdays (two separate class options).
• You may register your child for one or both days.

• I will pick up students from the Pinewoods field at 3:10 PM in the large golf cart. You will need to ensure that Pinewoods knows your child is a “walker” so that he/she will be allowed to walk through the Pinewoods/Stoneybrook gate.
• We’ll head directly to Stoneybrook Golf Club for class, which ends at 4:45 PM.

• I begin another class at 5:00 PM, so please arrive promptly at 4:45 PM to pick up your child.
• If you’re late, your child will be sent to the Stoneybrook Pro Shop to wait until pickup.

• Have your own clubs?
  ◦ Drop them off at the Stoneybrook Pro Shop before 1:30 PM.
  ◦ Let the staff know they are for Chase’n Birdies.
• Need clubs?
  ◦ Clubs will be provided for any child who doesn’t have their own.

You may also leave your child’s clubs at the end of the range after class. I’ll store them in the Stoneybrook range shed for future classes.

• Every Sunday morning, I’ll send out an email via Golf Genius to confirm attendance for the upcoming week.
• Simply click “Playing” or “Not Playing” to let me know if your child will attend.
• This ensures I know who to pick up from Pinewoods and can plan class accordingly.

• If class must be canceled before start time, I will text all parents by 2:30 PM via Golf Genius.
  ◦ Please make arrangements with Pinewoods (aftercare, car line, walker, etc.) in that case.
• If weather arises during class, I will text all parents right away.
  ◦ I will remain at Stoneybrook until all children are safely picked up.

• Monthly Reservation:

  ◦$25/class per child for two or more siblings
• Drop-In Rate: $40/class

The number of classes per month will vary depending on the calendar. I’ll let you know in advance each month.
